• In the interest of time, I was going to forget about the numbering, thinking that the admissions committees of these schools I'm applying to will care more about my work than my inelegant hand-numbering, but when I looked at the slides on a projector this evening, I noticed that a few had noticeable, long horizontal scratches on them. On one particular slide it was unsettling, and there's no way I can submit this to a graduate program without my looking bad in the process. I would like you to reprint just these few slides -- once you look at them on a slide projector, you will see what I mean. I will also send you two of the three sets back for renumbering. The third set I need for RISD's deadline tomorrow. I will mark the slides, but note that the numbering on the very first set you did was fine, and should also follow the filenames of the Photoshop files I submitted. I understand that I am not to be charged for this additional work because neither of these problems originated from my end. Also, I need the reworked slides back as soon as possible. If I miss a school application deadline because I had to have slides sent back for redoing, I will be very disappointed to say the least. I hope you will take this request seriously; I have already paid over $400 for your company's services. Let me know if you have questions or issues. Photographic Specialties is no longer producing slides and transparencies. I have been self-employed for 35 years, but looking forward to retirement since my wife died five years ago. With the decline of conventional photography and the recent recession, the availability of film and chemicals as well as the volume of work has declined to such an extent that it is no longer possible to have fresh chemicals to develop film. I hope that if you still need conventional slides and transparencies, you will be able to find someone who can produce them for you. Thank you for your orders over the years.
