CONVENTIONAL PHOTO PROCESSING

BLACK AND WHITE SERVICES

We offer custom development of black and white film at $15.00 a roll. While we no longer make black and white prints from negatives, there is an excellent reason for you to choose us to develop your film: We offer accurate development by time and temperature for the specific type of film you send us. We do not have a generic B&W developer with only one time and temperature for all films. You may also request custom push or pull development at no extra cost. Your negatives will print well no matter whom you choose to do the printing. Bad film development can not be corrected or re-done unlike bad printing. There is a $30.00 minimum charge for black and white services, and there is a $4.50 handling charge on all orders.

COLOR FILM PROCESSING

Custom E-6 developing of your 35mm or 120 Ektachrome film is $8.50 per roll, with two-day delivery standard. We automatically mount your 35mm film into 35mm slide mounts. There is a $4.50 handling charge on all orders.

Photographic Specialties is no longer processing film. I have been self-employed for 35 years, but looking forward to retirement since my wife died five years ago. With the decline of conventional photography and the recent recession, the availability of film and chemicals as well as the volume of work has declined to such an extent that it is no longer possible to have fresh chemicals to develop film. I hope that if you still need conventional slides and transparencies, you will be able to find someone who can produce them for you. Thank you for your orders over the years.
